NYFW. .Last Day

As you all know, New York Fashion week came to an end this past Thursday. Now there's nothing else but to look forward for spring-summer and wait patiently until next season's Fashion Week when it brings along Fashion's Night out; a party on every store and fashion icons all over Manhattan!! :D

NYFW. . Vivienne Tam's Show

Vivviene Tam Fashion Show took place at the Lincoln Center Saturday February 12.

This was my very first New York fashion show, I was so lucky to have a friend that has a friend inside lol.. Anywho, lets talk about the show it was amazing being inside. I love the clothes; the construction, fabrics and manipulation of it, embroidery, placements and lace. An easy to wear collection, but with that twist and sophistication that will make you take a second look. By the end, I was very happy over the whole experience I even saw Vivienne Tam after the show!

Este fue mi primer Fashion show en Nueva York, tuve bastante suerte en tener una amiga que tiene un amigo trabajando dentro del evento.. Ahora hablemos del show, fue increible estar adentro. Me facino la colección; la construcción, telas y la manera en que fueron manipuladas, bordados, apliques y encaje. Una colección fácil de usar, pero con ese detalle y sofisticación que hará que tomes un segundo vistazo. Al final estaba bastante feliz con la experiencia, hasta mire a Viviene Tam después del show!

Can you imagine a conversation with this women? I look forward for the day I can actually have a little chat with one of them. But clearly not when they are between shows running from one location to the next one.. The funny thing is that when I was actually in the tents later that day I ran into no one!

All of them looked gorgeous in their own style. Though, I have to admit my favorite was Nina Garcia. I even told her before taking the picture, "You look GREAT" (I am sorry, but I could not hold myself).

Te imaginas una platica con estas mujeres? Espero con ansia el día en que pueda tener una pequeña charla con alguna de ellas. Pero claramente no cuando andan a prisa de una locación a otra para un Fashion show.. Lo chistoso es que ese mismo día cuando estuve adentro; en carpas, no me encontré a nadie!

Todas lucian muy bien a su propio estilo. Aunque tengo que admitir que mi favorita fue Nina Garcia. Hasta le dije antes de tomar la foto, lo bien que se miraba! (Lo siento pero no pude contenerme).

So what if you don't have a Valentine? Isn't this day supposed to be about LOVE? 

By that I mean there's all kinds of love, not only form a partner. But your family's and friends. When I used to live at home, my mom will always wake me up with a Valentines gift followed by either lunch of dinner with my girlfriends. This time there's no plans, since I am 3 thousand miles away, probably hang around with new friends.. Whoever you are with; make it worth, like any other day should be. .

Happy Valentines Day, or Happy love and friendship's day- like some call it in Mexico.

Y para eso me refiero a todo tipo de amor, no solamente el de la pareja. El de tu familia y amigos tambien cuenta. Cuando vivia en casa, mi mami siempre me levantava con un regalo de San Valentin, seguido por almuerzo o cena con las amigas. Esta vez no hay planes, ya que me encuentro a 3 mil millas de distancia, probablemente pasarla por ahí con nuevos amigos..Con quien estés; haz que valga la pena, como cualquier otro día debería de ser. .

Feliz dia de San Valentin, o dia del Amor y la Amistad-como algunos dicen en Mexico.

NYFW Day 2. . Street Style

Second day of fashion week went around taking street style pictures. Or should I say Fashion Week style? It was freezing but that didn't stop me from taking quite some shoots. Fur, leather, outrageous heels, oversized bags and the latest trends were spotted, along with style and attitude. There's so many pictures I will post them within time.

El segundo dia de fashion week anduve alrrededor tomando fotos de gente que iba llegando al Lincoln Center, Fashion Week Style? Parecia un congelador afuera, pero eso no me detuvo de capturar algunas fotos. Abrigos, piel, tacones altisimos, bolsas gigantes y las ultimas tendencias estuvieron a flote, con estilo y actitud. Son tantas las fotos que las ire subiendo poco a poco.

NYFW Day 1. . Meeting Proenza Schouler

Thanks to Eventbrite, Independent Fashion Bloggers and Milk Studios for such a great opportunity at the Evolving Influence Fashion Blogger Conference. It was nice to see everybody's different point of view and learn about the do's and don'ts. Met amazing crowd, from bloggers to people in the industry and Proenza Schouler designers Lazaro and Jack, I love them even more!
